Professional Safari Guide Training

In 2014, Andreas established a consultancy company to offer training and assessment services for prospective and professional guides. In the years since, we have trained hundreds of people from across the world, including numerous refresher courses for some of the most renowned lodges and operators across East Africa. Between safaris, Andreas still offers these services, with particular emphasis on fostering the walking safari niche in Kenya.

A project we are particularly proud of runs in partnership with the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Borana Conservancy, Ngare Ndare Trust, Sera Community Conservancy, the Saruni-Basecamp Foundation and the Northern Rangelands Trust. As a result dozens of ex-anti-poaching rangers are now trained as professional walking guides.

Conservation work

We strive to only work with partners that have a positive impact on the ecosystems in which they are based and will always incorporate conservation themes into every safari - Be it going behind the scenes with ranger teams, meeting researchers or having your guide go into depth about the conservation challenges and successes of each destination.

We are specialists at creating conservation safaris in partnership with organisations on the frontline. These include custom donor trips and itineraries for those wanting to learn more as well as supporting the projects they visit.

We are proud to have supported The Kenya Wildlife Trust, The Mara Predator Conservation Project, The Pangolin Project, Lion Guardians, Sovereign Nature Initiative, Tsavo Trust, Serengeti Cheetah Project and Ewaso Lions.
